A couple nights ago, a mountain full of newborn puppies

There were so many, I didn't know which one to save. They were in danger. That was all I knew.

A couple nights ago, chased by dinosaurs and vampires

My friend Ed, an older man, and I were hiking with our horses up in Colorado. As were were leading the horses down, the mountain changed. We were now walking down giant steps covered in rice fields. We had to walk carefully.

We could smell the smoke. There was a fire blocking our path. If we crossed those trees and popped out on the other side, we thought, we could get down that way.

We crossed the trees and the other side was a beautiful park. We started to cross it, Ed and I, and our two horses. We had escaped the fire.

But over the hill, the sun was suddenly blocked my a giant figure. It was a mammoth. It roared. We stopped, frozen in our tracks. We couldn't believe our eyes. As the mammoth got closer, we saw that it wasn't complete. It was mummified, half of its face was caved in. It was moving stiff, jerky, but fast. As it ran we could hear its bone crunch, snap. Chunks of flesh were falling. It was coming after us.

As we started to turn around. we could see a whole heard of creatures. Dinosaurs, monsters, vampires, they were all after us. They kept screaming, "TRESPASSERS!" As we turned to run, our horses panicked and ran away, into the park. We turned to run and could see other hikers had had the same idea. They were farther into the park, and were running to enter back into the words, back into the fire.
We ran. We could hear screams behind us but we didn't turn around. Just as I was two feet from the woods I could feel a hand with claws reach for the back of my neck. But I was safe. An invisible wall kept the monsters out. The mammoth roared. Our horses were lost.

Last Night, pulled into a conspiracy

So I was reading Wired magazine. There was a millionaire from the 1950s who build an underground track underneath his house. This track though was positioned like a thread on a screw, and could the incline could be changed if you wanted the track to be steeper. I had to see this. I went to the house and entered into the basement level. It will filled with young men, hispanic and vietnamese men. They said I could take a tour, that it would be no problem. They said I should wear a helmet. They said it could be dangerous.  These men were working on small machines, electronics. I had entered into a work station. There were wires everywhere. A hispanic man in white coat called someone. The owner of the house, an older white woman with pure white hair, came downstairs. She said it shouldn't be a problem.  She lead me upstairs. The steps were made of black marble.

Once upstairs, the house was decorated like an old victorian house, paintings hung on the walls salon style. The wood was all dark cherry. The colors deep red and orange. Her daughters and other young people filled the living room. They said I would need to change for the tour of the track. I said no problem. It was getting late so they invited me to spend the night and would give me the tour in the morning. I said no problem.

The next morning, in flannel and boots that didn't quite fit, I awoke in the living room. It was filled with people wearing head phones and wearing all black. I opened a door and inside was a TV station, they were producing some kind of news show. I turned around to ask someone, "I thought this was just a house?" when a young man said it was time to go.

A black guy and white guy in crisp grey suits and grey ties lead me to a caravan of black SUVs. I said I thought the track was underneath the house, I didn't understand where we were going. A young man, with light brown hair, blue shirt and tie, said it would all make sense soon. He sleeves were rolled up, he was talking on a cell phone.

He drove me to a busy mall. Where we in Tokyo? There were screens everywhere, lights, white floors, escalators with silver trim. People in the mall looked closely, news bulletins flashed across the walls. The young man lead me to a "WE SELL GOLD" store. It was small and out of the way of the main foot traffic. There a woman looked me over and told me to step in the back room. There were two other young women. We smelled something funny, and started to have small seizures. We all collapsed on the floor, unable to move. Men who looked like technicians filled the room and said, "We have to check them for prints and wires. No funny business boys, lets make this quick." The woman who owned the gold store looked down on us with suspicion.

We were stripped and redressed. Then it went black. I awoke in room. The walls were TV and computer screens. And a mans head, neck and shoulders were sticking out of the bottom of the floor. I ran over to him screaming, "What the hell is going on? You did this to me! I was awake the whole time, what were they searching for, where am I?" As I looked down I could see he was standing in a tiny hole with key boards all around him. He said, "We had to make sure you were clean." "Clean? what does that mean?" I yelled back. " We had to make sure you were alone. We had to make sure you were free." At the moment the wall opened up, and more men poured out. They said it was time.

I was in a floating air craft carrier. I was getting ready for the drop. I was wearing a special suite and the men were telling me about my latitude and body position I should take as I fell to earth. My tiny craft was getting prepared, and the parachute they said was top notch, it should take the kind of speed I was going to achieve. I said I didn't understand. All I wanted to do was to drive on that track. I think I saw a Top Gear episode about it. They didn't acknolwedge my statements.

I woke up. I was on a terrace. People were eating. The sun was setting and Arabic was being sung. I was in Istanbul. I could see the Hagia Sophia. My eye sight was blurring. Around the terrace was a moat with deep milky blue water. I stepped into the water and wondered how I got there. Then it was like my voice was being projected from the sky. I remember saying, "I didn't want to change the surface, but the foundation." As I said foundation, both from the recording, and my memory, a second voice boomed the word foundation. A mans voice, deep, it was everywhere and also right behind you, as if he was whispering inside your ear. His voice echoed from the buildings. The people eating on the terrace turned at once and looked at me. The vibrations of he voice ran through the water. Then very slowly, he said, "Don't you remember....this is why you are here" I began to float away.

Last night, covering up murder, running from rape, and lost in Disney World

It had been an accident. But the cover up had been planned. Too bad bones don't burn the way they should. I had discovered the body, and had kept my friends secret for too long. But now they had been discovered by others, my parents would be home, everyone would know the truth. I begged to call the police. Turn yourself in before its too late. I dialed 911, crying.

I was in class, my friend was there looking mopey. What was up I had asked? I am going to jail, she slowly said. Didn't I remember last night, the hours spent down at the police station. They had called in everyone. But it was a blur to me.

I had been drugged. I knew what he was about to do, I struggled to get our of the room. He laughed and my sluggish movements. I vowed if I survived this that I would going to kill him. Luckily by meth dealing neighbor, an old woman with the face of a bull dog, had heard my screams. She came in loaded, in every sense of the word, and escorted me out. A biker gang was across the street. It didn't take any imagination to guess what had happened inside the house. That biker gang hated rapists. I didn't have to worry about revenge.

But then I was in Disney World, behind the scenes. It was raining and my family was trying to escape. We tried to climb and unlock our ways our of these magical words, but I got separated and kept getting smaller and smaller until walking through the miniature worlds was easy. Little robots were looking for us. I kept on the look out for my family. The robots turned into trash bags when I hit them. But the park police were right on their trail. Where was I? I kept thinking...

A couple of nights ago, sending a demon to hell

It was a race to find the amulet. Me versus a demon possessing a woman's body. It was in an old, five floor antique shop. I entered as quickly as possible with the demon right on my heels, my head scanned the first floor, full of old furniture, and I raced to the second floor, but something inside me was whispering that it was in the attic. I hurried past old dolls, faded photographs and moth eaten fur coats. There in the attic, a black cat jumped out. Here was a powerful nun who had been turned into a feline by the darker forces. The demon ran up beside me and began attacking me. But all of a sudden, as if a great lasso had caught the demon around the neck, she was pulled to a chair. I knew I had to thank the black cat, she was using the last of her magic to trap the horrible demon. I scanned the room and a wave of pressure enveloped me. It was as if I had suddenly jumped into the deep end of a pool and sunk right to the bottom. A old wooden box pulsated. I knew this is where the amulet was. I walked slowly, as if still at the bottom of a pool, and reached for the box. Inside was the amulet, small and gold, with a black stone that resembled an animal at the top. The old black cat's magic was fading, and I knew what I had to do. With the added magic of the amulet, I had enough power to preform a spell. Given to me on her death bed, the nun from Saint Mary's had whispered a free go to hell card, that I could apply to any blood thirsty demon I wanted. I spoke the words she had given me..."with the power invested in me by the the Church of Saint Mary, I banish you straight to hell!" The demon screamed and slid out of view of this reality. I was safe, I had the amulet, things were looking up.

Last Night, Science Fiction Nightmare

I was a brown haired girl walking out of complex. The complex was both a modern building and my parents house. Inside the yard, I rubbed my eyes as if waking from a long sleep. This was a port town. You could smell the ocean and hear sea gulls. And in the distance was the largest structure I had ever seen. It was a sphere with huge black metal legs holding it up. It was in the middle of the ocean, but it was so huge it was clearly visible. It had a red circle in the middle that resembled an eye. But then it moved...slowly at first, and then quickly. It was an eye, this large structure was a robot.

I stood on the fence to get a better view. I wanted it to look my way for some reason. I kept thinking, turn this way, turn this way, as if possessed by something else. And then the red glowing eye turned, and a bright light burst from the eye, surrounding me in a reddish haze. An all encompassing feeling of dread took over. I knew then it was out to get me. I jumped off the fence and only then did I realize that my whole yard...no the whole neighborhood was littered with little robots with similar red eyes. Once I passed before them they began to glow and give off a quiet yet disturbing noise. I knew it was looking for me, and these little robots were its spies.

Just as I had this thought I heard motorcycles in the distance. It had just gotten dark and their lights were coming down the street. The little robots were lighting up every time I passed them. I had to get out of here fast. Were the men on these motorcycles coming for me? They stopped but I did not ask any questions. I threw one of the smaller robots at one of the men and kicked the other in the face. I quickly climbed on top of the motorcycle and rode off. Everywhere I went there were little robots. If I moved by them fast enough they didn't have time to pick up on me. I needed to go somewhere where they were scare and I could escape the city. I headed to the docks.

The docks were busy, ships and boats, storage stations, maintenance crews, boarder inspections and travel lounges covered the sea side. I ditched the motor cycle and just missed a roving little robot by diving into a storage unit. Inside were huge shipments of clothing. I helped myself to a new, more suitable outfit for sea voyage, and left quickly. I realized the robots could only detect me if they scanned my eyes, I walked down an alley of shippers and boaters and traders, looking down as much as possible. What I needed was a ship to sneak aboard.

Now that I was at seaside, I could see details in the huge robot. Flying ships seem to be docking with it, but they were leaving and entering from the other side. The huge red eye ball continued to move slowly, searching the land.

I overheard a couple talk about a cruiser that was leaving in just twenty minutes. It seemed like this was my chance. I sneaked aboard the docking ship and sat down next to a young couple. They were peering out at the large robot, talking about how strange it was when it first appeared but now they can't imagine the landscape without it. Then the woman asked why the red eye was always moving, and the young man said it was looking for a sacrifice, a human tribute. They turned to me, their eyes began to glow red, and I knew I was in trouble. I broke the glass window and jumped into the ocean.

Last night, an unresolved rescue

I was at an after school program when a father who I thought looked like Timothy Olyphant came in and talked about his step daughter. Her biological father seemed to be acting strangely (pictured above!) He was a war veteran and would turn up suddenly after missing for days.

He was, as it turns out, teaming up with a hit squad to take out a bizarre future version of Indiana Jones. This hit squad raided Jones' secret safe house complex and murdered his two best allies, a portly english professor and hard nosed miner. Unfortunately, there were two other people at the complex, and they were taken hostage. Jones' was murdered on the roof and the two hostages tried to fight/ bargain their way out of the situation. A Nicole Kidman look a like was able to console the war veteran father, almost seduce him into letting her live. He was having horrible flash blacks and was becoming increasingly more and more incoherent. I remember him holding a gun, sitting at the end of a long table in a dark, orange and green lit room, swaying back and forth and uttering nonsense as the woman shuddered at every quick gesture he made, not knowing if he was going to kill her.

I, along with a team of hostage negotiators, infiltrated the complex. Unfortunately for us, a team working for the crime boss who had sent the original hit team was right behind us. It turned into a bloody cat and mouse game. The complex was a maze, an old hospital that was abandoned right in the middle of renovation. It was on the outskirts of a new city. It began to rain hard, and water began to pour into some broken roofless hallways. The lights would go on and out, and there seemed to be an endless amount of floors and staircases.

Near the end, a ghost helped my find one of the hostages.
