Last Night, panther vs. shark, Bob Newhart, and time travel.

I was with three other animals. I was some kind of panther. I think a black panther. The animals may have been cats, but one may have turned into a fox at some point. They were large mammals, strong, beautiful coats of fur. We were in a sort of room, a trap, perhaps a puzzle. It was a square, with a shallow trench, a river, with perfect edges. There was a shelf, a path that went around the room, just a few feet above the waterway. Inside was a shark, jumping and biting. My friends and I made our way around the raised path, there were some inlets, some places to hide. The shark would jump and slash, it seemed to follow our every move. I knew I had to fight the shark. So I dove in with my big panther body, wrestling the shark. It was horrible. I knew I was out matched. But luckily, a woman in a library had the shark's spirit, and she had a large stick which she broke the jaw of the shark. It was the advantage I needed. I bit the shark in the face and the wound bleed profusely. I had done it. The shark was dead. We, my animal friends and I, were free!

Then, I was a boy on a road trip, with my girlfriend. And then I turned into Bob Newhart! My girlfriend was horrified, I tried to convince her that it was still me.

Then there was some part about time travel and paradoxes. Something involving a castle, a stone with horses carved in it, a dead field.

Many many nights ago, John Malkovich stabbed me in the 16th Century

It was the Renaissance. Early Renaissance. I was sitting on a hill. There was a large ornate blanket and an exquisite picnic. Fruits and deserts, golden bread. The colors were all rich, oranges, reds, deep pinks and earth greens. I am wearing a beautiful gown, rich in detail, tons of fabric. John Malkovich was sitting beside me. A battle was raging in the valley below. The soldiers and horses were small, their clashing a faint sound. We were laughing. He leaned over. I turned my head to imitate a blush. And then he stabs me in the stomach. I am stunned. I try to look down, but he continues to lean over. He whispers something in my ear. My face begins to melt in horror. Whatever he is telling me, it is clearly worse than the act of killing me. I open my mouth to scream. And that's when I wake up.

Two nights ago, The pope was black and blood was running down my knee

My family was in Europe. We were having lunch. Someone stole my brothers wallet. Or was it his basketball? I tried running after the culprit but I then realized my knee was injured. Blood was running down my knee. I couldn't run, what was I thinking? The visit to the pope was next on our list. A huge crowd had amassed at the Vatican. Everyone was wearing red. My roommate and I were in the front row, and yet I could see the whole seen as if I was a bird floating above. The crowd started to move in unison, like a marching band, the pope shouting orders. The crowd made some mistakes, but the pope seemed pleased with their overall performance. My roommate wanted a signed bible so we waited in line. The pope was an elderly black man, with deep wrinkles around his eyes and mouth. My roommate got a bible but was too scared to ask for his autograph, so we left.

Last Night, the ocean

There was a great hill covered with smooth rocks and pebbles. I sprinted down the hill like a mountain goat, scattering colored rocks. The ocean was before me and I dived in. Huge waves were crashing all around me but I deftly swam the currents. There was a long smooth beach, and a man was waving. It was Robert Redford. He plunged in and I heard a loud "Action!" The filming had begun. I was suppose to have drowned, with Redford pulling my lifeless body from the cool waters. "Cut!" The crew was gone. Redford and I just began to swim on our own. The day, once steal blue and cloudy, turned to a hot clear summer day. Redford wasn't Redford, but a inflatable pool toy. The hill and the beach were gone, and the ocean was now at the edge of my backyard porch. My backyard and the neighborhood were transparent, gone, and back again, like a ghost. I peered down and there were hundreds of schools of amazing fish. I put on some goggles and couldn't believe my eyes. It was astonishing, every kind of fish, zooming and darting. I yelled for my mom to see, but then I could see bigger fish, and shadows of sharks started to appear. How could I distract them I thought? I giant swordfish zoomed by, bubbles filled my field of vision. Then, more predatory fish appeared. More sharks. I had to get out of there. I wasn't safe. My house wasn't safe. No one was!

Two nights ago, the nineteen teens in London

It was the nineteen teens in London. I was with a rag tag group of child thieves. We were running around London. It was rainy and we were very hungry. We stopped by Harrods. The grocery store was filled with people and the most amazing food ever. We knew the desert chef and he brought out dark chocolate dipped raspberries, mini waffles with honey, and strawberry delights. The dark chocolate cracked under my teeth and the raspberries burst with sweet juice. I grabbed as many tiny waffles as my mits could hold and stuffed them in my mouth. Light and fluffy, and perfectly warm with chocolate chips in them. We couldn't get enough. I remember looking down at all the fancy rich Londoners, with their big skirts, hats and coats. And I exclaimed. "I have been here before, in the year 2010!" My friends started blankly back at me, sugar and chocolate covering their mouths.

The rest of the dream was navigating the dark wet streets of London, avoiding the cops.

Last Night, a mountain, a lake and another dimension

We couldn't stop the machine from digging a hole. I was with a group of people, and we had climbed down into the pit where the machine was endlessly digging. It looked like a giant creator, as if a meteor had hit. The machine's black smoke was filling the air. And then it hit something! There was this sudden beam of light, right up into the sky. There was a mix of emotion, excitement and fear, but the fear won out. What about the ozone layer? The beam of golden light seemed to burn right through the sky. And then, all of a sudden, a giant stream of water fell from the sky, obliterating the light and feeling the creator with water. We had to move fast. I remember climbing and crawling and running up, trying to out pace the rising water. Finally we had made it to the rim, and we looked before us and there was gleaming blue lake. But the water wouldn't stop falling, and the water kept rising. We had to get away from it as fast as we could, or we would all drown. We ran down this hill, but the water was right at our heels. All of a sudden a huge gust of wind began to blow, and it grew stronger and stronger, it started to blow the trees right out of the ground. Animals were being sucked up, baby kittens tried to hold on to their mothers but failed. The wind suddenly stopped and we found ourselves at a small pool. I decided to go in. When I emerged I was in another universe, or world, or dimension. It was like the city of Oz and Toronto had merged and become a new kind of Venice. There was a beautiful family by the pier, looking at me. I swam over, they were the most gorgeous people I have ever seen. I young man kissed me, and I turned around, I saw my friends from the other world from a window, stare out. I knew something was wrong. I had to get back. This new family, clad is white, began to change. Just as I broke through the pond, the family in white started to turn. The boy, his face began to transform into something hideous, he was turning into a ferret with large black owl eyes and sharp teeth spread out into a grin and a scowl.

Last Night, I stole some blue salt water taffy
